CALGARY, May 4, 2017 /CNW/ - Sleep Country's new Distribution Centre in Calgary, Alberta is now open.  The new facility has 39,508 square feet of space and supports 15 retail locations and customer deliveries in the Greater Calgary Area.  The Calgary facility is one of seventeen Distribution Centres that Sleep Country operates across Canada.

"The upgraded facility has 65% more capacity than the previous facility which will enable Sleep Country to streamline our logistics and delivery service even further while supporting the sales growth we've been driving as a company," added Will.  In addition, the new facility will serve as a hub for the Prairies for receiving palletized and container shipments.

Calgary marks the first of three Distribution Centre expansions scheduled for this year. The other two expansions will take place in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON.
